In my past work experience in marketing I had mild exposure to the worse kind of influencers - the lazy and entitled one who barely delivers work. Using AI-generated digital influencer to replace them looks like a zero-sum game (if we put the ecological impact use of AI aside for now).
Then I wonder what kind of consumer is satisfied by such a shallow render of supposedly rich experience? Well I guess they deserve each other. It's sad though. Very sad.
(My colleagues fantasized having a fully rendered 3D model of one of our popular but lazy and unreliable influencer so they can slap her model on customer's product and call it a day instead of panicking every second hoping she will turn up on time at the photoshoot.
