For example, the default privacy policy of Mastodon (also used on this instance) says they may use your data "To provide the core functionality of Mastodon.", which is effectively a broad grant since the functionality of Mastodon can be altered at will.

Unvanquished is having a bit of a big moment, with some fresh coders doing some great work on this strategy-shooter that's similar in basic idea to Natural Selection.
I used to play Tremulous back in highschool (I think before the fork) and it was such a blast. I was pretty disappointed when the player base & development all dried up. It is such a fun take on the FPS genre! I hope I can get some time to try the new release out.
