The first System-76 computer I bought is one I can't find on their "previous models" list, it is so old
(and still working although we'll use it only occasionally). The model is a "Ratel", which I got in 2011.

@itchyballs not many released Linux Native builds even to begin with, and Proton does 99% of the time result in a click and play experience, it's only a problem if you're blinded by platform executable ideology

most gamers don't and shouldn't care

maybe you are right. But when I want to buy elsewhere (like gog) I don't have a nice way to play on linux. This was the case with the latest title from frictional games for example (the first time they did not ship a linux client). That is why I still appreciate native ports.
But as you said most people probably shouldn't/don't care.

@artemist@mildlyfunctional.ga that was certainly one argument advanced but the main reason was it was an undocumented IMPDEF register with unknown semantics. Hopefully this documentation is enough to revisit the patch series. I don't think it existed when this was last discussed.

Just a heads up about the Mega Drive/Genesis Collection, unless there are region differences etc. they should come with the ROMs themselves in a folder called "uncompressed ROMs" in the "Sega Classics" folder. Which *should* work just fine in emulators.
