mojang is actually really harming minecraft modding with all the tiny updates containing massive refactors lately. anyone maintaining a significant codebase is likely to get impacted at every minor release now. people (including me) are starting to just burn out and stop updating their things, while getting bombarded by players with update requests

to be honest, half life 2 is probably one of the best game ever made. garry's mod is a mod for half life 2 and it made my childhood from watching prop hunt and skit about them.
