Forgejo v12.0 branch was cut on 25 June, for a planned release on 17 July. Forgejo v11.0.2 was released on 18 June, addressing several bugs. Forgejo Runner v6.4.0 introduced offline caching support.
The minimum required Git version has been bumped and the search has been improved.
There is strong enthusiasm for translating Forgejo.

Computing freedom to me, means having control over my digital tools and data. e.g. The ability to run, modify, and understand your software without vendor lock-in or surveillance.

I'm pretty young (gen z) so my meaning of computing freedom is probably different to a lot of others. Computing freedom means being able to use the hardware an owner has in whatever way they wish, they can put a different OS on it, write a custom bios, take the components apart and put them into a custom case, and use one time fee or FOSS software. Basically they own the hardware and should be able to do whatever they want with it.
Computing freedom means ownership-of and expression-through both hardware and software. This can have many unfoldings, but its importance might convey the right idea: is the means to make computing technology be of service to the human soul (in the individual and collective sense).
#LiberateTheComputer I believe computing freedom has many aspects. When it comes to software, for instance, we should be able to view, modify, and share the code. Ideally, we should be able to easily switch to different software, like by using an open, common file format, so that no one is forced to stick with the same software. Hardware is just as important. It should be easy for anyone to repair using simple tools, and as many parts as possible should be interchangeable. Plus, all the information needed to rebuild the product should be accessible to everyone.

Yeah, Wuthering Waves seems to be running on Linux with this GE-Proton. Not sure whether it's a GE-Proton thing or Kuro have relaxed something, or both. Hope it lasts!
Unfortunately this update still disables controller support by default on my system. Proton 10 has been the first big setback for me on Linux as I now have to setup each game to either have controller support on Proton 9, or get performance upgrades on keyboard and mouse.
