The reasons don’t make sense? It is being removed because of negative feedback about the code or the person behind the code?

AVX-512's Enormous Advantage On AMD EPYC 4005 Series Performance

The AMD EPYC 4005 "Grado"" processors launched by AMD in May for entry-level servers offer downright amazing value, performance, and power efficiency over the Intel Xeon 6300 / Xeon E-2400 series competition. Intel's top-of-stack Xeon 6300 (Xeon 6369P) / Xeon E processors fail to compete with even the mid-tier EPYC 4005 series processors in either performance, power, or cost ef…

I wonder why Intel had to EOL AVX-512 so suddenly? 🤔

who? o_0 And yet, another project which prefers not to say on their main page what actually is it.

I'm left to presume, that it's yet another distro based on Fedora, right?

in reply to KasTas

@KasTasMykolas
From their main page:
"The next generation of Linux gaming

Bazzite makes gaming and everyday use smoother and simpler across desktop PCs, handhelds, tablets, and home theater PCs."

in reply to Liam @ GamingOnLinux 🐧🎮

bazzite is hardly the only distro that would be affected. Valve will very likely migrate the steam client to 64 bit like they did with macOS. Most importantly, this proposal, if it goes through, would be applied two iterations of fedora from now. Plenty of time for Valve to update or Bazzite to find an alternative

Got a message in. Love the work you all do and I hope it keeps expanding in the future. The Atomic project has been amazing. Seeing all the silveblue, Bluefin, Bazzite, and Aurora rise out of it has been amazing. These Atomic projects have been some of the most stable OS's I have ever had the privilege of running on a laptop.
in reply to Fedora Project

oops, forgot to mention in the last section that Fedora Silverblue should just be Fedora Atomic GNOME/Workstation.

Also in the architecture part isn't easy to read for nontechnical people (x86_64 but the counterpart is i686?)
