ไปทดลองเล่น Ratopia Demo มา
เล่นได้ 12 วันในเกมส์ ซึ่งประมาณเวลาจริงได้สัก 2 ชม.
ในฐานะ non-gamer แล้ว เราชอบ art direction / character design มาก แต่สำหรับวิธีการเล่น คิดว่ามันมีอุปสรรคดังนี้
1. ถ้าไม่ใช่คนมีประสบการณ์กับเกมส์แนวสร้างเมืองมาก่อน ถือว่ามี suggestion น้อยไป เช่นเวลาขึ้นเตือน alert ใดใดที่เกิดกับเมือง จิ้ม notifications แล้วควรพาไปยังตำแหน่ง หรือเมนูที่ต้องการแก้ไข
2. UI ไม่ค่อย intuitive มันต้องอาศัยความคุ้นเคยเอาเองนิดนึงว่า select ยังไง submit action ยังไง เดินและกระโดดจากตรงไหนไปไหนได้
3. Tutorial ค่อนข้างหลวมและอิสระไป อย่างน้อยในสองสามก้าวเดินแรกๆ อยากให้ไกด์ระดับช่องที่วางเลย เพื่อให้ผู้เล่นเก็ทว่าอะไรจัดว่าเป็น choice ที่ดี (อะไรทำได้แต่ไม่ควรทำ)
4. นอกนั้นคิดว่าไม่มีใครประสบความสำเร็จตั้งแต่เมืองแรกที่สร้างแน่นอน ประชากรโกลาหลแน่ ต้องมีประสบการณ์ในรอบต่อๆ มานั่นแหละ
