Silly math of the day: A modern SSD gets around 0.4 picograms heavier for every terabyte of data you store in it. Zeros are heavier and an empty SSD is all ones.
(This is back of the napkin math, I might easily be off by a factor of 10.)
It doesn't matter what data you store though, I'm pretty sure every reasonable modern SSD encrypts/whitens the data so it ends up random in the end. Just whether it's full or empty.
Edit: 0.05 pg per terabit, not terabyte. It's 0.4 per terabyte 🤦♀️

@MostlyBlindGamer The electrons are trapped inside an insulator, which was previously neutral. The electrons come from the circuit so it's not like they came from some other static reservoir that is depleted.
I'm not sure how the EM fields interact overall though, maybe it partially cancels out?
@MostlyBlindGamer These electrons come from elsewhere within the same SSD. Otherwise, the entire SSD will carry an electric charge. Since the SSD is connected to another circuit (the one the electrons presumably came from), they will immediately flow back to equalize the charge.
To actually create an overall electric charge, you need to somehow move the electrons such that they won't immediately flow back, e.g. using a Van de Graaff generator.
@portaloffreedom Assuming whitenening is used (which it should in any reasonably decent SSD), the data will wind up being around 50/50 ones and zeroes. I used a factor of 0.5 for that reason.
@koakuma No, there's probably scrambling/whitening so the bits aren't recognizable. But empty blocks are always all ones, the OS just doesn't see that because the flash controller returns unallocated sectors as all zeros.
