I'm using a Launch keyboard. The small size is nice because on a full-sized keyboard, I'd rarely use the numeric keypad, so it is easier for me to reach the mouse. I mostly kept the default configuration, but set the function key to access Layer 2, and set Fn-CAPS to toggle to and from all-caps mode. For Layer 1, the CAPS key is disabled (I tended to hit it accidentally). Fn-1, Fn-3, and Fn-4 take you to other layers. I configured Layer 3 to mimic a numeric keypad.

Hmm. Not necessarily opposed to clearer rules about how such contributions could be made... but tbqh I'd rather not see the same sort of deep codebase enshittification that's absolutely plaguing Windows right now. Ultimately I would rather see the Kernel team outright reject AI slop.

not sure I like that direction, there are plenty of cases or modern systems that only support EFI, e.g. install Linux on a MacPro T2 with Intel chip. Runs only with EFI boot (Ubuntu installed in my case)
