Framework, the popular maker of customizable, modular and upgradable laptops has announced a big upgrade for the Framework Laptop 13 across both Intel and AMD models.

it's apparently wet bulb that is critical, because if wet bulb temperatures low, your sweat works at keeping your body cool even if normal thermometer readings are high, but if it exceeds a threshold, you're very screwed. Wet bulb temperature in Bangkok was 29° earlier this year, 2° from being hazardous.
@mishari I learned that the hard way cycling Bangkok to Lampang during Songkran several years ago when the temps were reaching 41°C. The breeze and sweat can no longer cool you down when the air is warmer than your body temperature.

I have their NES keyboard, and it's a fantastic keyboard for the price. I had to buy a separate number pad that was almost as expensive as the keyboard, but I Iove the setup.
Each time I saw this kind of keyboard (from 8Bitdo) I told myself « Damn I want one » … then I remember I'm french … and there's NO chance of getting an AZERTY version 😅

Eeeh, yeah, 'remake' probably wasn't the best choice of word for the share lede on my part (I did share like ~2AM my time so I was running on fumes a little). I should've said 'reimagined' or 'homage' (which is what the article uses).
The keys do have a slight curve like the OG, despite the lack of buckling spring. No inset curve in the chassis is a missed opportunity but they're re-using/sharing parts between all their 'retro inspired'' keyboards so perhaps understandable.
