เทียบกับผลเสียที่เกิดจากการเลือกตั้งในภาวะที่อะไรๆ ก็ยังไม่พร้อม คนที่ควรเป็นผู้สมัครบางคนก็เตรียมตัวไม่ทัน ประชาชนก็ต้องแบ่งความสนใจจากกิจกรรมอื่นที่กำลังคึกคักหลังออกพรรษา บางส่วนที่อยู่นอกพื้นที่อาจไม่ลงทุนเดินทางกลับมาเลือกตั้ง การรณรงค์ของ กกต. ก็ไม่ได้เต็มที่เหมือนวาระปกติ ฯลฯ
