@imikoy working with firewire can be tricky for live, because its non hot pluggable, during buggy moments, i have to turn off the computer first fully, then turn off the the firewire interface, then i can turn the interface back on, and finally turn on the computer. Since you are live, you are limited to trying to do this on the computer os end (i.e. disconnecting and reconnecting) fair warning disconnecting powered FireWire will shorten the lifespan.

I’m experiencing the same issue with two of my Fedora Kinoite 39 devices. The error message is exactly the same as the one shown in your picture. Given the timing of the updates, the issue is related to the new kernel version 6.9.

Honestly, I'm not super confident with my ability to recover if I mess up in the terminal (one reason I LOVE Silverblue so much :)) so I will just keep booting on the last working image and try to apply new system updates until hopefully one works :D
