The #Forgejo monthly update was published ✨ It is a high level overview of the project activities.

Forgejo is two years old and has been a lively human adventure, a story worth telling. A hackathon organized by Codeberg generated thousands of new translations. Forgejo v9.0.0 was published, as well as a security patch release which was backported to Forgejo v7. A kubernetes cluster was created to replace the current infrastructure, running Forgejo from the Helm Chart.

I flashed the new Fedora KDE Plasma Mobile Spin 41 to a PinePhone and it boots!

I already had Tow-Boot, so I just had to start the device while holding down volume-up, and then connect the USB cable and flash with Balena Etcher. WIth verification included, it took more than half an hour, but then again the image was large (11GB uncompressed).

Can't get past the Initial Setup though. First, not everything fits into the screen. Second, I see the Wi-Fi enabled but don't see a way to choose the network (possibly because of the first problem).

Nevertheless, I hope one day soon I will have this running.

เอ้อใช่ ตอน debug fuzz test แล้วได้ binary มา สงสัยว่าจะ debug ไงดี ขี้เกียจไล่มอง hex editor

ก็นึกถึง kaitai struct ซึ่งเป็น binary format parser ใน java ซึ่ง project อีกอันว่าจะใช้อยู่ แล้วมันมี web ide เลยเขียน datrie format ไว้

ปรากฏว่า kaitai มันก็ parse invalid struct แล้ว error อยู่ดี เลยช่วยไม่ได้มาก แต่ comment section ออกมักจะหาย

เรื่องนี้คิดว่า
1. ถ้าเป็นเกม realtime competitive จะมีก็ได้เพราะโดนโกงต่อหน้าต่อตาไม่สนุก
2. ถ้าเป็นเกม competitive ไม่ realtime เช่นจัด leaderboard ไม่ควรมี อาจจะต้องมีการตรวจคนที่ขึ้น top โลก (แต่ top friend ก็ช่างเขา)
หลายๆ ระบบเช่น retroachievements ใช้วิธีว่าสามารถ opt out จาก global leaderboard ได้ ถ้าลง mod หรือจับโกงได้ จะบังคับ opt out แต่ยังเล่นเกมต่อได้ปกติ บางทีมี leaderboard แยก mod/no mod

3. เกม coop ไม่ควรมี และไม่ควรมี penalty ออกห้อง ถ้าเจอคนโกงก็ย้ายห้องหนี กดไม่เล่นกับคนนี้อีก
4. เกมออฟไลน์ไม่ควรมีอย่างยิ่ง
5. เกมที่มีหลายโหมด ควรจะมีทางเลือกลง/ไม่ลง แล้วไม่ให้เล่นบางโหมดถ้าไม่ลง (อาจจะแยก binary หรือบางทีแยก install โหมด sp กับ mp ไปเลยก็มี)
