From a space for cars to a place for people — one of my favourite client cities, Groningen, Netherlands. Another powerful before-and-after transformation 1960s vs 2021. In recent years one of the city’s biggest challenges has been where to park all the bikes. Seriously. A good problem to have.

in reply to omg! ubuntu

the older I get the more I love snaps... They just take care of themselves. I remember back in 9.10 days loving applying updates, trying and breaking my system with PPAs. Now I get to Sudo snap install, without breaking adjacent software and it'll take care of updating itself. Good times.

The reason why I have not talked much about A Moment But Forever is because I am way too busy chasing it 😭.

It's the best xianxia I have seen in years. A true blue xianxia, not a fairytale romance, even if it may appear like that. It's a classic xianxia that talks about good, evil, mortality, purpose etc. It's more philosophical than romantic. So, best not to approach it as a romance. It's not going to satisfy romantics, will annihilate their expectations, even if it has elements of romance.

Here's the funny thing. I don't like xianxia.

At least modern xianxia, which seem to revolvea around immortals falling in love, and whose stories are divorced from real Chinese mythology.

Linux 6.15 Brings Improvements For Five Decade Old GPIB Bus

Going back to 1972 is the General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB, a.k.a. IEEE-488) as a parallel interface bus developed by HP. GPIB pre-dates the Linux kernel itself while it wasn't until last year that the GPIB driver subsystem was added to the Linux kernel's staging area with GPIB still seeing some use by scientific equipment and other devices. For Linux 6.15, the GPIB code has seen a t…
