หลังจากที่ทำวีดิโอลองติดตั้ง Windows 11 ลงเครื่องที่ใช้ CPU รุ่นเก่าแต่มีชิพ TPM2.0 ติดตั้งอยู่ซึ่งสามารถลงได้ แต่ว่าไม่กี่วันที่ผ่านมามีอัพเดตรุ่นใหม่รหัส 24H2 โดยจะลงที่เครื่องเดิม ผลมาเป็นดังนี้
- อัพเกรดจาก 23H2 -> 24H2 โดยผ่านตัวอัพเกรด = ไม่ผ่านขึ้นดังภาพ
- ติดตั้งแบบ Clean install สามารถลงได้ตามปกติ
- Windows USB Setup ไม่มีตัวเลือกให้อัพเกรดจากของเดิม แต่สามารถลงทับได้ แอพหายหมด ไฟล์วินโดวส์เดิมไม่อยู่แล้วถอยไม่ได้ แต่ข้อมูลเก่าใน user ยังอยู่จะอพยพไปไว้ที่ Windows.old แทน
- อัพเกรดผ่าน Windows Update -> ยังไม่ได้ลองเพราะมันไม่ยอมขึ้นให้อัพ
สรุปคือ MS พยายามจะทำให้พวกคอมที่ไม่รองรับอยู่ยากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ถึงแม้จะมี TPM เป็นไม้กันหมาอยู่ก็ตาม สำหรับเซียนๆคงไม่คิดมากหรอกมั้ง ตอนนี้คงมีคอมแรงเทพๆครอบครองไว้อยู่แล้ว
